After a hot and humid week, a cold front has blasted through the region this Saturday. High temperatures so far have made it to the upper 70s. Low temperatures tonight will be set for upper 50s to near 60 degrees. High temperatures Sunday will be from 80-85 degrees followed by yet another cool night . I suggest opening those windows!
As we head through next week, it should be pretty calm with highs in the low-mid 80s witha slight increase in moisture in the lake week providing the shot for a few thunderstorms!

Rainy Night ahead!
Good morning fellow bloggers! As i type this we currently have a good soaking rain moving across a good portion of the viewing area as of 1:00 AM. Current radar trends show that the heaviest rainfall will be falling from a Lincoln to Omaha to Council Bluffs line for the next several hours. In fact, some orange and red on radar is showing some possible heavy rain. Too the south of this line i also see that their is more showers developing so defiantly a rainy night ahead. Rainfall totals should be from .50 - .75 total rainfall which would be very beneficial since we are behind a an inch or so! Please enjoy this as much as you can as HIGH heat and humidity will be moving in starting Sunday and it will feel like a blast furnace Monday-Wednesday. Stay Tuned! -Craig
